Instrument Rating - Rotorcraft Helicopter
The Instrument Rating, while not required for commercial helicopter pilots or helicopter CFI's, is an important step toward becoming an employable professional helicopter pilot. American helicopters, Inc. has a Robinson R22 Beta instrument trainer which we will use to teach you to fly solely by reference to instruments. Many helicopter operators now require their pilots to be instrument rated.
