As a Session II Overhaul Facility, we can overhaul or replace R44 rotor blades as necessary and R22 rotor blades to comply with Service Bulletin SB-94. Since the Service Bulletin was issued in December 2004, our service center has overhauled, removed and installed several sets of blades, saving customers weeks of down-time.

American Helicopters uses the state-of-the-art DSS MicroVib™ II Helicopter Kit. With this equipment, we can perform track-and-balance of helicopter main rotors and balancing of tail rotors and drive shafts quickly and easily.

Our entire fleet of R22 and R44 helicopters are maintained to the highest standards; and we give the same attention and care to any helicopter that comes through the doors of our dedicated service center hangar.

If you are bringing your helicopter to us for service, land on the east ramp and then contact us on 123.50 for instructions. We are located in the Washington, DC ADIZ at KHEF (Manassas Regional Airport).

Our airframe and powerplant mechanics have the training, the experience and the tools to perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on R22 and R44 helicopters - from oil changes to main rotor replacements; from annual inspections to overhauls.
